This WEEK • We have a packed issue for you this week. The new season starts here with the third series of Vigil (Sun & Mon, 9pm, BBC1). Our cover stars, Suranne Jones and Rose Leslie, are in the majestic Arctic investigating a crime for this popular thriller. Finally, wildlife cameraman Hamza Yassin brings us African Birds of Prey (Sun, 7pm, BBC1), where he films some of Africa's most threatened raptors.

Starting this week, six-part series Gary Barlow’s Food and Wine Tour: New Zealand sees the Take That singer and songwriter – who branched out into the beverage industry with the launch of his own commercial wine brand in 2021 – discover some of the culinary and cultural secrets of the Antipodean country. Accompanying him on this trip is his good friend, TV and theatre star Jason Manford.
